As we all know, iSTORYA has been through a lot. We came out stronger after an unforgettable experience where the original URL of our site hacked staged back in 2002, we stood as a united community when one of our most loved and most active moderator, the late Benjie Ordonez aka Pnoize, passed away and finally we reaffirmed our strength and undisputed support for the site after a difficult transition and economic shift that happened last year. Recently, we lost another active moderator, Lito Inso aka CrasHBURN (who was also the late husband of our EIC, thisbe.ara), to sepsis after battling leukemia.
What we have shown to Cebu, the nation and the world is that regardless if a mountain of boulders fell on us, we did not allow ourselves to be buried beneath the rubble; instead we used the rocks as platforms for us to climb higher.
After ten long years, you have never left us iSTORYANS, and forever we will be grateful to your continued patronage and support. After the torrents of trials that we all experienced, we felt that we have transitioned from online friends to best buddies. Yes, we may have not met all of you – we might have unknowingly bumped into you in Colon, Carbon, SM, Ayala, or in any of the places we visited – but the fact remains that no matter who and where you are, you have willingly given us your time, heart and effort in making www.istorya.net the undisputed and uncontested “STRONGEST ONLINE COMMUNITY”, truly you have proven our slogan, “MORE THAN JUST TALK”, and with that, we offer our humble “thank you”.
