This is not my actual blog entry but I thought I'd share this funny incident. Caught a meeting (make that near-collision) between a tiny slug and a tiny spider on my bedroom floor last night.

The approach. I actually cheated a bit...the spider was on the other side of the room, but I coaxed ito towards the spider with a few gentle taps on the floor with a broomstick.


Passing each other by like they've been meeting like this for ages. Not one of them got surprised when one of the slug's eyestalks collided with the leg of the spider.


End of encounter.

I am no stranger to photographing strange and creepy things on the floor of my home or office. My DeviantArt account has photos of spiders, beetles, and even crabs (yes, CRABS) crawling on my office floor (when I was still working back in Mindanao). Will try to post them on this entry later.
