Okay. We're in folks!
My very first iStorya blog entry. It's Thursday October 23, 2008. 6:43 PM.... (dang, I should've said, "Captain's log, stardate blah, blah... but nevermind)
Got myself a second-hand Canon Powershot S3IS today.
Some very minor defects but it doesn't bother me at all--this is my first EVF after all, so I guess my gripes about it will come waaay later when I get to know it better. It's quite fitting because, usually, EVF's are now referred to as "Prosumer" cameras. Interestingly enough, as a content creator, I am meant to be dubbed as a "prosumer" myself hehehe. To learn more what the heck a prosumer is (well at least according to the context of the profession I'm in) check out this video...

Here's one of my very first shots with this new camera...
On work-related stuff...
I managed to make actual spokes on the superduperhuge bicycle wheel for the project (never thought it was possible) so I'm very happy with that.
Clients are much more forgiving and attentive to our needs now, so again, less headaches and more excitement down the road as we approach the downhill portion of wrapping up this project.
Also finished this French Lop rabbit for someone's own private animal collection...
...part of a 6-animal collection and my coworker Fab did the other animals, using his own awesome techniques that I still have yet to learn.
On SMART cell network's outage...
#$%*$)%!!!! It wasn't working last night and pissed me off big time. But it's all okay now.
I actually have a lot to say, but again, time constraints prohibit me from doing so. I'll just add more stuff tomorrow.
BTW am totally enjoying The Cure's new album 4:13 Dream. It's basically a hodge-podge of Cure styles ranging from the early "Three Imaginary Boys" days, and the playfulness of the later "Wish" and "Wild Mood Swings" era. Although I didn't like their self-titled album released back in 2004, this one is waaaay different...more meat. Very Robert. And Porl is back in guitars, so it has more beef. Wait, didn't I just say meat? Oh I did. Bummer.
