Thread: Noisy Line

    Default Noisy Line

I have a noisy line and sometimes radio broadcasts can be heard from the phone. I think this also affects my broadband speed. What should I do to make the noise go away? Install some kind of filter? What kind of filter? Where to buy it? Thanks.

Call your ISP company about the problem of yours.

Dili siya sa headset na problem, sa extension wire ni na gi gamit. I'll try to call them later. Free of charge ang magpa install ug extension line? The extension line that's currently connecting the modem kay naay putol. Murag gi tap lang ba then gi electrical tape, kay ang PC dili man duol sa phone then pag abot sa mo install sa DSL kay wala may tool ug materials para maka taod ug extension mao to gi gamit ang akong old stock na telephone wire.

@Tin_Tin mo balik ra ko inig summer. Kinsa diay ka? XD

the line with a headset has a DSL filter/splitter ( the one included with the modem/router package ) while the extension line ( which is connected to the modem ) has no filter ( the line is directly connected to the modem ). Before installing the filter/splitter, when someone uses the headset upstairs, the DSL connection gets dropped. Do I still need another filter for the line connecting to the modem?
