i don't know if this applies to you pero ako bil magpahak2 iya ulo basta masobraan na kau cya kastress...consult nlang sa doctor for your peace of mind.

Bai, basin mao nay gitawag og ALOPECIA AREATA. this is more or less related to psoriasis except sa ulo lang. dili pod na siya katol but the symptom is usually bald patches nga mo anam anam ug kadako. often the eyebrows are also affected.

it is said to be caused by an abnormality (genes) of your imong immune system which attacks hair follicles...trigger points include stress and histamine-rich foods (such as crustaceans, poultry-based protein and other allergens). You can recover from alopecia areata without any kind of treatment but only after 6months to one year.

you may want to check your dermatologist to ascertain if indeed it is the alopecia i am talking about as there are also other forms of alopecia. but my suspicion is alopecia areata gyud.

your doc would usually recommend steroids injected directly on the patch(es) so as to prevent it from spreading but don't necessarily assure you of recovering lost hair instantly although many patients experience improvement of hair recovery after 2-3 months of steroids. the treatment (steroids) is sometimes coupled with minoxidil.
