actually, for me, it appears that most animes that are coming out are weak in storylines and appear too plastic-- murag nawa gyud ang unique animatic texture or visual feel...

If you mean too realistic in art...
Well... I can say that I'm not really a fan of animations like Final Fantasy Spirits Within and the like, Animatrix, etc. (I don't bother to know the titles of the other videos). The CGs are really good but I prefer the lighter ones.

Modern Anime are already works of CG. They're great. However, sometimes, the colors are too crisp that they're irritating. I mean, for me, it's irritating to the eyes especially if they use those TOO BRIGHT colors. I want a moderate and balance application of colors.

I like the artwork of anime done around 1998 or so. I'm not sure if these are already CGs. Examples, Ghostfighter, Magical Stage Fancy Lala, Devil Lady (although I only see it through inet pictures), etc.
