pls experts give some inputs, have a new laptop without OS, asus ang brand, the problem is i cannot install widows xp, kay dli madetect ang hard disk drive, pero ug vista makita-an, madetect ang hdd....what do you think should i do.....pra ma install ang winxp kay hinay man gud ug vista....thanks....

But I am curious nganong dili ma-detect ang hdd. Does the bios detect the hdd? Unsa man ang size ani?
Basin wala lang ma-partition (FDISK).
How do you know nganong wala ma-detect? What is the error msg?

dats a common issue sa Vista ready laptops without OS...
i google bro.. there is way to disable that sata/ HD thing para ma install nimo XP...

asus A8E ang model, the hdd is present in the bios, pro ug mo boot ko ari sa cd drive, mo prompt ang winxp, no hdd found....pro ug vista siritsirit wla blema.....hangtod krn wla pa jud OS.....do i need to update the bios?....more help plzzzzz.....
