Does anyone know if the size of the micro switch ( the clicker ) is universal for most mouse, Im not keen into opening a mouse but i might need to replace my micro switch from another mouse.

i cant answer your question because i do not know if they all come in the same size or not but i want to warn you about something based on previous experience though. be careful when opening the mouse as those little spring mechanisms that give the mouse its "click" are very easy to dislodge. and when it comes off, like it did in my case, depending on your mouse model/brand, it might prove very difficult to figure out how exactly to put the spring back. it took me about half an hour of trial and error to figure out how to put it back.

If its spring switch then its not called micro switch. ive already replaced my G7 with another micro switch from a LX700 mouse ( unused ) and i want that fresh click sound always..
