    Default hu's into EMULATORS

mostly sa computer world daghan mga virtual devices... example lang ang windows app na calc... iya gi emulate ang real calculatror, meaning d naka kinahanglang mopalit ug physical calculator para sa mga computations....

the best thing about this is you dont have to spend another buck para mopalit ug harware... u dont have to make additional wirings, etc... di naka mistil mobiya sa imo pc and mostly free ni sila...

the downside is that all is done in software mode... daghan pang glitches, missing features, etc...

    im into:

    GAMING CONSOLE emulation:
ps1 ----> CVGS (murag gipalit nani sa Sony tungod naka affect sa sales sa ps1 console way back when)
EPSXE (mas improved na ps1 gaming compared to the real thing!!!)
other high-end console ----> please visit ngemu.com for details

    CD emulation:
IsoBuster (making virtual cds inside your very own harddisks)
    Nero, PowerIso (ditto)
Blindwrite (ditto, and can also emulate the protection scheme of some CDs/DVDs)
Virtual Daemon(makes 4 virtual CD/DVD rom drives... can even emulate the handling of the protection scheme of some CDs/DVDs, no need for another physical drive... some software can even make more drives)

naa ko bag-o na hibaw-an(i need to read of it more tho)
virtual modem (uses your dsl router as a modem)

any more additions will be greatly appreciated....

NOTE: as long as its not illegal, your using it legally and your not using it for profit(depende sa licensing)... no worries

As I understand. Emulation is only legal if you own a copy of the game or the Company has already released it for free to the public. I used to do this but gitapol lng hehehe. And Im not familiar in using the PS1 versions

yup kinahanglan jud ni xa extra effort para sa configuration... and yeah, kinahanglan naa sad kag legal copies sa mga dumped roms and cds...

hehehe... no more memory card problems... pwede sad gani quicksave ang uban...

"Microsoft Virtual PC is a virtualization suite for Microsoft Windows operating systems, and an emulation suite for Mac OS X on PowerPC-based systems...

Virtual PC emulates a standard PC and its associated hardware. Thus, it can be used to run nearly all operating systems available for the PC. However, issues can arise when trying to install uncommon operating systems that have not been specifically targeted in the development of Virtual PC."

    --quote from wiki

"run multiple operating systems at the same time on the same physical computer. Switch between virtual machines with the click of a button"

    --quote from microsoft

juz like CVGS (made by connectix, gipalit sa sony), virtual PC was also developed by connectix then eventually gipalit sa microsoft...

---no need to multi-boot... no need to buy additional HD(or another virtual drive pareha sa installation sa multi-boot) no need to buy another pc para makarun ug laing os... ang kinahanglan lang jud ang requirements sa individual OS's... and also ang imong HD space para installan sa tanang OS's...
