Strange cod crashing (Problem Solved)

I have weird crashing problem , when i play cod4 . Sometimes my computer just freezes, and sound comes crackling, then i have to restart my comp. I think this issue is related to my soundcard.
I have turned sound eq filter off in the game , but that didnt help. And this occurs rarely , ( about 2 hours of playing).

My Soundcard : Soundblaster X-fi fatal1ty

and this problem is not related to temps, i have checked all temps and they are fine.

dunno if my soundcard is overheating ?
any1 could help?

try to remove the soundcard and play COD4 again then observe.. if the problem didnt occur w/o the soundcard - soundcard is your problem

bsin nay bug imu game bro...........sakto sd tong usa ,,try to isolate..remove the soundcard then play the game ..then observe...........

Thanks people... problem solved. I pull-out the sound card & transfered to my brothers pc. grrrrr sayang.

are you verclocking your system?

naay ki mention ang Infinity ward anang mga riva tuner/ etc nga mga overclocking software..... mu casue gyud na sila ug slight freeze and crakiling... advise nila nga i off kuno ang overclocking

in my case i over clocked my gpu... mu freeze sad ni suya and then after a few 30 seconds mu balik ra dayun ug resume ang game
