better get the lower price CPU kay dili man nimo ma-FEEL ang perfornance. hehhehehe...
the two extra cores in the quad will come in handy in the future... hehehe!
Thats the E6850 i presume, you pay a hefty price for having a higher CPU multiplier 333 * 9 = 3.0Ghz, performance wise the E6850 IS faster on SINGLE threaded applications as compared to the Q6600, But when multi-threading is factored in the Q6600 wins by a long mile ( provided the software is 100% multicore efficient
depends on the purpose... but if its only for Word, Excel or any other office applications, Core2Duo will suffice.

If your not the type of person that upgrades your processor often, go grab the Q6600, especially the G0 stepping. it can clock to 3.6Ghz on aircooling. 3.4Ghz on stock cooling.
