There are several ways to upload (not download) video or MP4 to your cellphone.

1. Via cable, if your phone has a cable (usb most probably) included in the package/box when you purchase it. Install the software in the CD/DVD (also included) in your computer then connect your phone to the PC using the cable. Use the installed software to copy the files

2. If your cellphone has external Flash disk, remove it and insert it to a reader on the PC and copy your videos there.

3. Via bluetooth, if your phone has bluetooth and supports file transfer (FTP profile) or object push (OPP). Your PC must also have bluetooth installed. If not, you can purchase bluetooth usb dongles that are very cheap nowadays.

4. Via infrared, if your phone supports it and your PC has infrared (not so common), you could transfer files by it.

videos from youtube and the likes are .flv files.
simply convert .flv to .3gpp w/ any conversion software of your choice.
the freeware SUPER does the job also quite well.
