I think if you would use a legitimate Vista and not the "Vista Spyware Version" which is all around the net, you would think different about Vista.
I agree with you there. Its so funny why so many people bash VISTA. lolOriginally Posted by softtouch_ph

Most applications (database apps, wordprocessors, spreadsheets, movie players...etc) needs at least 100Mb only to run.
Why does the OS needs more RAM than the primary purpose/use of the computer is to run these apps
Why do we need a nice 3D desktop when it will not be seen when we are making a spreadsheet or typing a letter on a word processor
Why do we need a very expensive hardware just to run the OSand not our application that is intended for work
The OS is only needed as the base/framework to run the apps. The apps are the primary purpose/use of your computer. Why does the OS costs more sometimes than the apps
I think Micro$oft targets Vista for clueless users that don't seriously know what the computer is for.
If you don't have the hardware to run Vista, don't install it. Simple. If you do install it, don't bitch about it running like crap because you knew beforehand that you shouldn't be installing it.
Vista is a very stable, very effecient OS. I personally have switched away from it even though I have a Vista Ultimate license because Linux suits me better. That doesn't mean I wouldn't use Vista if that is where my development is going to be.
VISTA = SUX PERIOD
