Regular Cough or Something Serious?

i need an expert's advice. its been 8 months since my cough started. ive gone to several different doctors now and so far im still not totally cured. i have already taken x-ray exams, lung function tests, antibiotics, antitusives but nothing is working for me. i dont have any trust with doctors anymore. all their recommendations dont seem to work at all. need some different advice from those who experienced thesame symptoms. pls help..
