need help with wordpress

umm...is anyone here familiar with wordpress and knows how to make themes or layouts for it?

i've made a few themes on it, my suggestion is to play around with the themes included til you get the hang of it. What exactly do you need help with?

ok...i'll try that thanks. umm...just want to know if you really need to know php to make themes for it...

not really.. a little knowledge about PHP includes will do..

thanks for the link...been there before...but i think there ws smthing wrong with her tutorial page last time i was there. ayu na diay ron hehe ^^

You don't really need to know PHP, just know the built in functions for WP which are PHP. However to really understand and customize your Wordpress site, you will need to know PHP and how to manipulate the loop. The best resource for this is the Wordpress Codex ... http://codex.wordpress.org.

will check it out. hmmm...one more question though, out of these three which is really easier to use for blogs? wordpress, b2evolution or nucleus?

Don't even bother with b2evolution. Both b2evolution and WP are descendents of the now defunct b2 blog software. b2evolution doesn't have nearly as much community support as WP. b2evolution is bloatware as far as I'm concerned. I liked Nucleus when i was puhtzing around with it a few years back although I can't really comment on it because it's been so long.
