Bro, I guess you already done with the installation. Okay, these are things to do next. First, double check if peripherals are connected properly to avoid unnecessary short circuits. Second, select appropriate OS for your system that suit to your needs(Ubuntu Linux, XP, Win2000, Vista). Third, peripheral driver installation like motherboard, sound card, video card, and etc.![]()
also make sure nga inig boot sa imong computer, imong optical drive ang 1st priority. adto ka sa bios, set your cd driver or dvd driver as the first priority, para makaboot ang imong OS installation cd.Originally Posted by deford_cnca

thanks guys... this is a really good input for a noobie... hehehe I'm also sorry for not making it clear, I'm trying to install a Win XP pro OS
any other things I need to know?
setting up bios is right after we boot the freshly assembled PC right?
then when do I know that I can install the Win OS?
if your PC can power up smoothly then install the OS right away...![]()
yup! that is assuming your pc boots up correctly. hehehe! goodluck!Originally Posted by headset
All you really need after installing OS is installing the mobo/chipset driver, video, sound, network driver, dialup modem driver if present. After driver installation, that is it.
parehas sa ilang gisulti........![]()
Boot into the windows xp installer cd. instructions should be available once you have finished booting from the cd.
