makapalit ka ug libro bro sa SM naa sa National BOOKSTORE OR if naka bantay ka kana tapad dapit sa accent micro na atbang sa toy kingdom dapit. naa diha daghan books bro baligya.. i can recommend you wrox book or apress book but if nahan kag tipid then less time try ug pangita nalng ebooks or video tutorials para mas madali ka

@franzziss - advice nako bai... try ug developed ug mga basic nga para sa web. example sugod ka ug guestbook, then message board... then until magka expand naka bai... if nahan ka bai. i have alot of ebooks about php or any about web... pm me bro if you need any

@franzziss: Ask weblizzer if he has, "PHP in Action: Objects, Design, and Agility" by Dagfinn Reiersol. I stopped writing web applications two
years ago but I remember using the following books (I think they have newer editions now):

1. PHP and MySQL for Dynamic Web Sites: Visual QuickPro Guide (Visual QuickPro Guide) by Larry Ullman
2. PHP and MySQL Web Development (Developer's Library) by Luke Welling and Laura Thomson

I also learned how to use JpGraph and Smarty from their respective sites

I heard though that PHP frameworks are becoming popular (I just don't know which one is #1). Ask the younger ones here

@cmontoya... regarding the books you stated above as of now i don't that kind of resources and even the authors... well i do have a lot of ebooks here for beginners and advanced users.

regarding to you franzziss just tell me if how deep na imo knowledge in PHP if you had already developed some web development application then all you need is just to study the advanced area.. like php framework. and i guess the most popular now is the

this is the most popular framework to work with and honestly wla pa ko venture ana karon hehe kay mabuang pako ana.. hehehhehe. But even though as 1+ experience in web i had already encounter different problems... But ambot lang for large scale wala pa gud. but hopefully soon..
if you are asking for ebooks i have a lot here which a wrox book and apress books... it very understandable for beginners and i even print one of the book when i started to PHP.. but once you have a better knowledge nah gud.. daugon rana sya sa experience ug study and study lang gud... eheheheh :
