What is the most common cause of a Dead Power Supply? What part that needs replacement? Unsa ang pinaka dali maguba sulod sa circuit sa Power Supply?

Murag mas barata pa man nga pulihan na lang nimo ang PSU kay sa imo pang ipa-repair...

There is some kinda fuse inside the PSU, but like the other guy said.. it's not worth the time and hassle to repair it. It's a Field Replacement Unit. Throw it away and get another one.

No pare... the problem is, that power supply is very difficult to find it here in Cebu, that is why im trying to fix it myself I am already experienced in electronics things... but I already have hard time working with this thing, I am just looking for someone who has better ideas than me. To the people who can read this, share some ideas naman jan

ang fuse i check, ang mag transistor i check pud asta diode usually mao ra ma nay manginit, tan awa pud ug wa bay resistor nasunog, ang capacitor wala ba ni leak.pangita diagram sa internet para imo guide.

ok ra ang fuse, unsa-on man pag kahibaw kung guba ang transistor and diode? what to do in tester? mag mata mata rman gud ko kung sunog ba o dili. Naa man gud uban components na guba pero dili makita physically.

commonly fuse & diodes ra man madaot ana. in checking diodes, isolate it and test using a tester. try to test pod ang mga cords from AC male plug to the transformer, mao pod na kasagaran putol ra diay before ka mo buting-ting ug maayo. check sa mga cables kung wla nangaputol.

cables and fuse, checked already got no problem with that, circuit, wala man pud na sunog, wala pud broken circuits... I think there is something wrong in the components... I have found a resistor colored blue, with five strips of color in it... the problem is, it is difficult to read the stripe color becuase of color of the whole resistor is dark, I tested it on a resistor its resistance is flactuating, I think this needs to be changed, went to colon but non of those electronics shop are selling a 5 color stripe resistor. Does anyone here know some electronics shop? other than Teknika, AC/DC, Kings, Advance.
