its because mas daghan semiconductor factories ga produce ug DDR2 so there are lots of supply
while ddr1 there is less and less semiconductor factories producing it....
right. law of supply and demannd
ahh mao diay... hehehehe.. karn pako.. abi nako mas lig-on ang DDR1 kay sa DDR2 hehehehe..
thanks bro! now i am enlightened but is there any other reasons?
Yea...same thing applies to other things like mobo's with socket 478... if you're a wise consumer, i'd say..you better stock up on some of those things before they ran out (if you're planning to use the DDR1 for a long time, that is)...Originally Posted by giglis

Sometime last year, a great majority of DDR1 manufacturers shifted to producing ONLY DDR2 modules and thus flooding the market to the point that some manufacturers stopped production.. Hence we have 1,100 as the cheapest DDR2-800 1GB module from Transcend.. I hope the prices drop even more next year.. 800 shoould be a dirt price for 1GB modules
damn prices!! i bought my 2x1GB GeIL 4-4-4-12 CL DDR2-667 paired RAM at around 10K last march.![]()
