Globe DSL speed increased

I am currently a globe subscriber with the express 384 kbps package for 900++
Globe recently called me up to inform me of their system upgrade. They told me that they are upgrading my current 384 kbps to 768kbps meaning double the speed at no extra cost. According to them all areas of Globe DSL will be upgraded and hopefully by Dec 25 it will be completed.
I tested my bandwidth and true enough i have performance increase and even surpassed the 1mbps .
My area is in Banilad.

@PowerPost could you please test your bandwith with a third party company like toast, their internet speed test link is http://performance.toast.net/ so we can get the average speed. i usually don't rely on my own isp's tests.. just a thought, i'm one of the interested pldt subscribers who'll switch to globe anytime. :mrgreen:

@powerpost bro ako gitawagan ang globe hotlines nila nya nakigstorya jd ko sa operator, i told him na tinoud bani na ang mga 384kbps subscribers maski bag-o lang nagpataud maincreasan to 768kbps ingon siya tinoud na pero ang ila increasan kato daw 384 subscribers sauna na 1,995 pa ila bayran so ila e increase daw to 768 para fair sa tanan daw, pero ingon ang operator na there's no such thing na maincresan daw ang mga new subscribers na naa sa package na 384kbps na 995 ang monthly same ra ghapon daw...so tingale na swertehan lang siguro ka bro peace...............
