ec-council again, sorry to say this but the summit last summer at SM wasn't really impressive.
it covers network security, wireless security, computer forensics and i forgot the other one, all in all it wasn't good enough. the scope is pretty basic. at the end of the day, it was just marketing about the courses/certifications that they offer.

kita ko ani ilang site, pro-windows kaayo.

kabalo kaha ni cla mo tan aw kung imong unix box na hack? ge hack? padung hack?

certifications? naa koy mga kaila nay certification pero ambot lang asa na ilang certificates kung mohikap na cla sa server kay wa ge apply or wa ga sunod sa ilang natun an sa certificate nila.

Hey guys, here are the facts:
1) Event last year was provided by Global Knowledge, a company from Manila. Event this year is provided by Taughtworks, an Authorized EC-Council Training and Testing Center which is also a Microsoft CPLS and offering training for Open Source Courses.

2) Speakers are Security Experts and NOT trainers.

3) Hacker Halted Workshop is vendor-neutral.

4) This is a workshop and not a marketing effort.

5) It will be a prelude to the CEH 5-day training.
