That was fun! Unfortunately, the games started too late (I was really sleepy by 2:00, so I had to go home by about 3 or 4 AM)...
To Chronnus:
Thanks for the UT2004 and BFV! Also, thanks for being a worthy opponent (DAMN you're good...). I kept getting PWNED whenever you were in the area...
Hm... Do you know of any good joysticks I might buy? Do you know where I can buy them cheap? I'm looking for a joystick which works for aircraft/helicopter sims.
To Zerone_Null:
The mortar's indirect fire is more difficult to use than I thought. When you called for artillery, I hit the target (well... the general area) after about TEN shots (the other nine missed). By the time I was hitting the area, the tank was gone. I need a lot more practice...
Thanks for the help anyway...
To everyone:
We should start earlier. There were some who were still putting together their PCs at 9:00 PM. Come on people, the sticky post here in iSTORYA.NET said "4:00 PM". I arrived at 4:00 PM but there were only two others there (I forgot their names, but both had dark skin complexion and one had a perpetual smile on his face).
Furthermore, about the "lights out" rule when playing. I used to play in dark cybercafes (e.g. One Place, dark at night, and Gamer's Camp, dark all day), but I stopped going to those places when I read an article in The Freeman (I forgot which issue).
It was all about computers (and computer games), and one part of the article talked about the hazards of playing games in poorly-lit cybercafes. Basically, it said that looking at a bright monitor in a dark room for hours causes eye damage.
Ever since I read that article, I stayed away from the cybercafes with bad lighting...
Now, I'm not sure if that article is correct, but my eyes hurt less when playing in good lightining conditions (e.g. my room).
But anyway... That was really fun! Let's do it again (next month)!!!
