Aikelyu Virus

Symptoms:
1. Aikelyu.html pops up whenever you open an Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or any browser you use.
2. Computer Disks and Folders can not be accessed directly by double clicking instead you have to Right-Click it and choose Open

Cure:
1. Stopping the wscript.exe
a. Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete to open the Task Manager. Alternatively, you can right click an empty space of your Desktop Panel and choose Task Manager.
b. In the Windows Task Manager window click the Processes tab. This is the list of all the processes running in your system right now.
c. Look for a process with the title “wscript.exe�. Choose each and click End Process.

2. Deleting the kernel.dll.vbs and the aikelyu.html in your system.
a. Take note that you should not open any instances of My Computer and do not open any Folder or Places during this procedure.
b. Press Ctrl-R or Start ïƒ* Run and type cmd
c. In the Command Prompt, type C:
d. Then type cd windows\system32
e. Type attrib -h -s -r kernel.dll.vbs then press enter
f. Type del kernel.dll.vbs then press enter
g. Type attrib -h -s -r aikelyu.html then press enter
h. Type del aikelyu.html then press enter

3. Deleting instances of this Virus in the Root and other Disk places
a. Do not close the Command Prompt yet
b. Type cd\ then press enter
c. Type attrib -h -s -r pooh.vbs then press enter
d. Type del pooh.vbs then press enter
e. Type attrib -h -s -r autorun.inf then press enter
f. Type del autorun.inf then press enter
g. Type D: for the next Disk
h. Type attrib -h -s -r pooh.vbs then press enter
i. Type del pooh.vbs then press enter
j. Type attrib -h -s -r autorun.inf then press enter
k. Type del autorun.inf then press enter

4. Cleaning up the Registry
a. Press Ctrl-R or Start ïƒ* Run and type regedit
b. Click the plus sign (+) at the left of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
c. Do the same in SOFTWARE
d. Then go to Microsoft
e. Then WindowsNT
f. Then CurrentVersion
g. Then Click Winlogon
h. At the Right side of the Window look for the file Shell then double click it
i. Modify the value to Explorer.exe then press OK
j. On the Menu Click Edit ïƒ* Find or Press Ctrl-F
k. Type aikelyu
l. Delete every instances of it.
m. Close Registry then Restart your computer

what if gi disable sa virus ang task manager bro unya dili ka maka sulod sa registry kay gi disable pud sa virus and also gi tang2x ang folder options. unsa on man paagi para makuha ang virus nga dili i reformat?

Try running in safe mode then access the task manager or regedit there.
