Just curious. What kind of college degree requires the most knowledge and competency of mathematics and statistics? In other words, if someone is supergood at math and statistics, which kind of degree/career will his math be put to the best possible use?

BS Math is one of the most flexible course there is. You can go to the academe to teach, or go corporate. Most math graduates are employed in the finance, corporate planning departments of big companies.

A degree in Math signifies obviously, strength in numbers which is a desirable skill trait in the corporate world.

ECONOMICS jud siguro, not just math but the interpretation of the numbers. kung di ka magtrabaho, then u can go start up ur own business and still make use of what you took during college.

BS Math also can handle software programming jobs. Some from UPnians who are BS MATH are mostly hired at software development companies...
The only skills that attracts software companies from them is their ability to solve the problem and of course, programming always involve mathematical solutions..
