But CompSci skill can only be acquired thru experience. CompSci skills are common unlike Electronics Design skills. Gani, mostly programmers only learned from self study. Pero in Hardware Design, not common so mostly ECE or COMPE have this skills.

The advantages if you get COMPE course is that

You can apply as either a Programmer or a Hardware Design Field. If compare sa CompSci, sa software ra jud ka ma qualified mostly depends on your atik-atik sa interviewer. In CompE, you can apply either sa mga software companies or sa electronics company.

You cannot say also that CompSci are only for Software. In fact, software companies nowadays qualify CompE, ECE, or EE depending on your way on how to convinced them because after you are hired, they will train you to the field of your job.

In terms of tuition, if nag budget ka, I prefer CompSci. But if skills and career opportunity, I prefer CompE.

I graduated CompE and I agree. I dont think there is a big demand for the skills that are being taught in CompE courses. Let's face it, we dont really have companies that allow us to put into use our Microcontroller logic, etc.

The CompE labs cost much and teach skills that dont have much demand.
Better to take CompSci or Management Information Systems.

Here, naa sad bro, sa MEPZ I heard, bag o palang sila ga open sa position. Microcontroller ang gipangita then naa sad sa Lexmark. Not microcontroller but related. Sa Lear, there are positions that is so similar to this. They use C language to do this kind of job.

Computer addict man kaha ang bata bro. If IT or CompSci ang papilion, mo prefer kog CompSci. I think being CompE is not here type cguro.

My point also is that, the teachings from CompSci can be self studied in a short period of time unlike Electronic Subjects which require a lot of time. Sayang ang gi teach sa school if you are in a company already, they require another language which is not taught in school. The most important lang dha is you know the concept and a little knowledge of C language. But the disadvantage is costly sad ang CompE.
