was a bon jovi fan in 2nd year high school... now, i don't think of them as "bakya" but i guess i've outgrown my fondness for the band...

They are not bakya. It is the people who think they are bakya are the ones who are bakya. Also the overplaying of their songs in "diskorals" is making them bakya. They play good rock n' roll songs. They are all good musicians. Richie Sambora is one helluva guitar player. I must admit I listen to them when I was still in high school.

Wa gyud ko kasakay sa ilang tukar.. katung panahona puros Newwave naa sa utok nako... I appreciate their Drummer.. Tico Torres has one of the best left foot control I've seen/heard.

the Bon Jovi band is more skilled than new musicians than SLAPSHOCK, BLINK 182, RESCUE 911, THE CALLING, THE RESCUERS, etc....
they can play the guitar a lot better, their chords are more intricate, and they don't have to yell and eat their words so hard in fear of fumbling while they sing.
anyawy that's what most new rockers do. yell all they like, and what do they get?
praise from teenagers because the teenagers can sing like they do too.
