phenoms performance are on par with the current core2 processors... now if you add penryn in the mix, then it would fall behind penryn...

Lagi, so far mao jud ang naa sa *unofficial benchmarks. AMD still has up to December to improve their chips, and their silicon valley mindset. If Phenom X4 (Barcelona-based desktops aka Agena/Kuma) performs as described above, it should be released at a lower price than E6850.

that was actually a good result for the phenom compared to the x2 6400... considering the clock speed of the two processors compared. but it only indicates, that x4 phenom's performance is not record breaking...
