If y'all guys think there's nothing fishy with Gina Lopez's rejection, there must be something with you.

The Philippines lost with this one. F*ckin' oligarchs.

Gina Lopez just got the balls that other men in government didn't have. She's no close to perfection, she has flaws in her research, she knows only a few things about the Constitution... But hey, she's way way better than anyone else in the senate and the congress! She admits to have been studying all the facts since she handled DENR and a lot of what she has done benefited the country and its people.

Politics in the Philippines is slowly killing the country.

I mean, how come this is making a lot of ripples when in the past there is barely news about who's being appointed to whatever position...

I think it is because she is well know as a person who fought against mining companies who do not abide by the rules.
