i need to periodically reformat my pc.

Ask unta ko unsay other way to back except sa sigeg burn sa cd.

you mean imong harddisk imong i-backup bro? if so, you can use Norton Ghost to copy image of your harddisk to another harddisk.

yup! wala kanang portable ba kintahay na hard disk nya usb lang nako, dyon pwd na kopyahon tanang files nako?

external na na bay.. if you want kung dako ug capacity imong HDD pwede ra nmo partition first then transfer sa imong partition..

advice nalang ko huwam ka external HDD if gamay lang imong HDD capacity.. gamit lang partition magic if nahan ka mag partition..

yeah, you can back-up your files on a different partition para di na ka mahasol og transfer sa files everytime magformat ka.

or, palit lang gyud kag separate harddisk para back up...

i-burn nalang sa imung files ron..

then once you're done formatting,
i-partition imung HDD..
then save balik imung files sa HDD nimo

you can change the folder for my documents, so that sa lahi xa nga drive mo-save.. (like mine)
then, imu important files / documents / etc. ibutang sa lain nga drive (since it is partitioned na)
Pwede pud malahi ang Drive sa program files.. using Regedit..

Drive C: for windows XP nga files..
Drive D: for files / documents and others..

btw, nganu need nimo mo reformat periodically? just wondering..

other option: Buy new Hard drive.. and mag bilin ka'g daku nga space for your files or use RAID configs if supported by your MoBo..

if i buy a separate hard disk, unsaon man nako connect? there is such thing as murag usb lang dayon pwd na?
i tried naman gud doing partitions unya mahadlok pa man ko. dili pa kaayo confident. so, kana untang portable ba.

pwede pud palit kag harddisnk ug enclosure, para makabuhat kag external nga harddrive using usb...
