Cost of power in the Philippines

Hello guys, I am new here.

I would like to ask some feedback and share in this forum regarding the impact of the cost of electricity in running a business in the Philippines.

Some of my questions are:

1. How much is your monthly electricity bill?
2. What is your business?
3. What is the percentage of electricity expenditure with the total business expenditure?
4. Are you satisfied with the service of the electric company?

To start, I will answer my own questions:

1. My parents monthly electricity bill is around 15k PHP/mo
2. They are running a rice milling business in the province
3. Electricity expenses is around 30% of the total expenditure
4. We do experience brownout or sometimes the cost of electricity goes really high. THus, I am not satisfied with the service.

How about yours? I would like to see the comment for those who have internet cafe?

Philippines has a really high power cost I believe its probably the most expensive here in Asia since our electric companies use coal and old technology in terms of generation.

kanang mag brownout wa koy problema ana, kay d man motuyok atong meter ana, unlike anang internet connection bisan sakto atong gibayad pero dili mao ang gihatag. ang atong e reklamo aning electric bill kaning VAT og system loss charge og uban pa nga naa under diha sa govt revenues maglibog lang ta unsa na ilang mga gipang charge charge nila
