BPI Skimming, beware!

It's already Christmas and all the scammers and skimmers are everywhere you have to be very careful with your money specially in your ATM.

I was already victimized by those skimmers with my BPI account during the sale in Outlets Tamiya Basak Lapu-lapu on 10/29/2016. What happened was I swipe my BPI atm to Planet Sports coz I was not able to withdraw cash since there was a very long queue at all the ATM's in Outlets so I decided to swipe my BPI savings account, it was 70% sale by the way.

Then after the shopping I went home and check my online account and my money was still there it's still complete. After 10 days since 10/29 and it was pay day 11/15/16 so I decided to withdraw from my payroll account in SB and transfer my money to BPI then I was dumbfounded to see that my savings were all gone my 50k was gone!!!!!!So I talked to BPI's CSR on that day and report what happened and they mentioned that it will take 3-5 business days for the investigation I was really frustrated, upset and angry at that time mix emotions perhaps.

What can I do I have to wait for the result of the investigation. I was not able to sleep coz of it I work hard for that money and it was all gone! What if I will not be reimbursed? I have read a lot of blogs with the same issue and some of them were not refunded for some reason.

I was really scared at that time, knowing the process here in our country it will take how many months or years to solve crimes.

Then on 11/16/16 they called and verified that my ATM got skimmed and they'll be able to credit the money that was lost. I was the happiest person on that time when I've heard that positive feedback, who would have thought that they'll be so snappy when it comes to reimbursement?!well there's a miracle, Philippines is really changing!

They want me to go to their bank on that time to sign some papers but I was too sleepy so I told them that I'll go there the next morning.

On 11/17/16 I went there to sign some papers after that my money got reimbursed it only took 3 days for them to refund my money! Good job BPI! unlike my manager same thing happened but her bank was Security Bank and it took 45 days to reimbursed her the money that was before Du30 took office!

Thanks to my beloved President establishments or governments are now afraid to do some snail works everything is convenient when it comes to processing!

Christmas is fast approaching so be extra careful when it comes to money!better not to swipe anywhere using your ATM withdraw from your nearest bank not from public ATM's.

My money got stolen too from BPI payroll ATM. I deposited my money to my payroll account and did not check the balance for 4 months after such time I checked it again was all gone. Unfortunately when I filed a complaint they went to their delaying tactics and I got tired and I was not able to get my money back.

This skimming is rampant in BPI, and I don't let them keep my money anymore.
It might be possible that this is an inside job ni sa BPI since ngano during times man nga dili mag balance check diha man kawaton.

Did BPI said the specific reason of the problem?..i also have same experience 2 years ago but the money is not that big. They did not explain any reason for the problem but they did reimbursed me quickly. Now i created another savings from another bank to be safe.
