Penalosa is just too proud to challenge De Leon, but doesn't stand a chance at all. De Leon is dead serious he'll whip Penalosa's ass. De Leon showed the real animal instinct in him when he KO'd Boom2x. It was a different and unprepared De Leon that showed up when he 1st fought Penalosa. The rematch will be scary for Penalosa.

Gerry has a superior boxing skill, and has never been downed in his professional career. His power is also unquestionable, and looks like it did not diminish with his age. He is a very intelligent fighter, and is very experienced. If anyone is capable of beating ponce, he's the man!!

Mura dako ni chance na madayon ila rematch... I think, date nalang ang unsettled ani. The fight would either be on December 8, as undercard in Mayweather-Hatton bout at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, or sometime in February 2008, here in the Philippines..

i dont think jerry can ko d ponce de leon. he even struggled against johnny gonzales, thanks to the lucky bodyshot that crippled gonzales. jerry is a good technician but he throws very few punches. it could do less damage to better quality opponents. and ponce de leon doesnt come in the ring unprepared. just watch the number of punches he throws. an unprepared boxer cant do that. he just faced a fighter that could neutralize his high punch rate.

Gerry can't win against de leon except by knockout.

As erwin_rommel said, jerry throws very few punches. On the on other hand, de leon is a fighter who does just the opposite, he throws so many punches. As we saw in the first fight, although gerry has thrown better percentage and higher quality shots, he still failed to convince the judges in his favor. this was because of the enormous volume of punches thrown by ponce throughout the fight, albeit its lower percentage and quality.

so if anyone believes gerry can pull off this one, he must believe gerry can ko ponce... and personally, i don't think that is impossible.
