    Default Inquiry about POEA OEC

    Good day fellow istoryans!

I am direct hire from Norway as a seasonal worker with an offer of employment of 5 months work only . I have on hand my passport, working visa duly approved by norwegian embassy and offer of employment(The one that I used in applying seasonal work to Norway). Now, I am thinking to get an OEC in POEA Cebu City. Thanks in advance sa mo komento ug mohatag ug idea or info.

ah I see... nag bayad lang ka sa travel tax bro?

kun naa ka'y record sa data basa sa POEA, balik manggawa ka if the same ang employer. if new ang employer & new work location, balik ka's sinugdanan... my statement is true for contractual OFWs na dili seasonal ang work.

Ako lng kabalak-an ky nxt year balik ko d same employer nya gusto nko e legal process sa POEA. Direct hire from Norway ko as production worker ky naa mn dri ga work ako brother in law.

    Requirements relating to your education/qualifications

You must have one of the following types of education/qualifications:

    - a completed vocational training programme of at least three years at upper secondary school level, for example as a carpenter or health worker. There must be a corresponding vocational training programme in Norway.

    - completed education or degree from a university/ university college, for example a bachelor's degree as an engineer or nurse

    - special qualifications that you have obtained through long work experience, if relevant in combination with courses etc. A permit is only granted in such cases in exceptional circumstances. Your qualifications must be equivalent to those of someone who has completed vocational training.

Requirements relating to the employment relationship

    - You must have received a concrete job offer from one specific employer in Norway.

    - The job must normally be full-time. If you have been offered at least an 80 percent position, we will accept this.

    - The job you are offered must require qualifications as a skilled worker. You must have the qualifications that the job requires.

    - The pay and working conditions must not be poorer than is normal in Norway.

How much pay must you receive?

If you are to work in an industry in which a collective agreement applies, you must be paid the collective wage rate.

If you are going to work in an industry in which no collective agreement applies, your pay cannot be poorer than is normal for someone in your occupation in the place you are going to work.

If the position requires a master's degree, your pay must be at least NOK 416 600 per year pre-tax. We may permit that you receive a lower salary if you can document that this is normal for your occupation in the place where you are to work.

If the position requires a bachelor's degree, your pay must be at least NOK 386 700 per year pre-tax. We may permit that you receive a lower salary if you can document that this is normal for your occupation in the place where you are to work.

gi emphasize najud nila ng sweldo karon kay aron ma ensure jud nga mabuhi...kay naa man uban nga modawat ra ug ubos.
