Finally!!! An FIA (Federation Internationale de L’Automobile) certified driver development program in Cebu.



Automobile Association Philippines has just launched a grassroots-level training program aimed at developing the driving techniques of young drivers interested in improving both their everyday driving and racing skills. But before everyone goes on yapping about how we don't need a new generation of reckless speed freaks taking to the streets, get this: The AAP is making sure that these kids understand the fundamentals of road safety, both on and off the racetrack.

The 3rd session of the AAP program's Cebu leg will be on Oct 1 (module 1 7-11am ; module 4/5/6 2-6pm) and Oct 2 (time trials 7am-1pm) at kartzone. Anyone interested in joining the young drivers' program can find more information and register online through the association's Facebook page

Fees are:
Module 1 - Php 2,000
Module 4/5/6 - Php 2,000

(For both days - Php 3,000)
Free for 16-19 yrs old

Note: fee is for venue and instructors fee. Each driver HAS to use their own car.

Also note: others can proceed to module 4/5/6 and skip module 2/3 since it is not offered on this leg.

Participants of the Program will have the unique opportunity to be trained by ten-time National Rally Champion, VIP ISADA and his team of Champion Drivers.
The participation of young drivers, aged 16-19 will be fully subsidized by the Program. Enrollment is done online and slots are limited per session only.

The whole training program will be segmented into 9 different modules. Each module or training session will consist of 3-4 hours of lectures and 4-5 hours of practicals.

The modules are as follows:

Module 1 – Race Skills
Module 2 – The Racing Mind
Module 3 – Race Safe
Module 4 – Vehicle Dynamics
Module 5 – Race Car Prep
Module 6 – Car Handling
Module 7 – Race Craft
Module 8 – Fit to Race
Module 9 – Race Show
