Good day Sir! Dili mana mahitabo na ma-bankrupt ang insurance company because it is 'policed' by the Insurance Commission. Ang investment portion na apil sa imong bayaran is invested to big companies in the Philippines. So para ma-"zero" ang value sa imong investment, kani tanan na dagko na companies sa Pilipinas dapat ma-bankrupt pud. Sun Life is the oldest Insurance company in the Philippines, 121 years na. Internationally, 151 years na. Naka-survive cya sa worldwar II. Even gave insurance claims during the war. Sun Life is the no. 1 company for the last 5 years in terms of total premium income (Insurance Commission report). If you are interested, we can talk more about this. Thanks for your question.
