    Default Pushing Daisies

Crime, forensics and romance are blended together to tell the tale of Ned (Lee Pace), a young man with a unique ability -- he can touch dead things and bring them back to life. Ned uses his ability in many ways, from ripening fruit to helping solve murders by having the deceased tell him who the killer was. But Ned's tale isn't always happily ever after. When Ned uses his ability to bring his childhood sweetheart, Chuck (Anna Friel), back to life, she encourages him to use his power to help people, but there's a catch in their seemingly perfect life--if Ned touches Chuck a second time she'll once again die, and Ned wouldn't be able to bring her back.

Meanwhile, Ned runs a pie shop, The Pie Hole and has teamed up with private detective Emerson Cod, using his abilities to bring murder victims back to life so they can find out who killed them. Meanwhile, Chuck has to deal with her eccentric aunts Lily and Vivian, who believe she's still dead, and Ned has to fend off his amorous neighbor Olive Snook, who wants to get much closer to him and works as a waitress in his store.

    Early critical acclaim

The pilot, before it officially aired, was well-received by critics who were able to screen it. TV Guide's Michael Ausiello claimed that "ABC has found its next Lost!" upon review [6] and the series has also been touted as "the fall show with the most spring buzz" [7] by many, including the trade publication Variety [8]. New York Magazine also provided it with a rave review, calling it "funny, imaginative and smart" while also claiming it "boasts Gilmore Girls-speed wit".[9]

With the good reviews I got online and from the american gossip shows, this show piqued my interest.
Has anyone seen else seen the show? Please comment on it... Is it a keeper or destined to be dropped early on?

one thing that offs me is the overdone voice over which can be a bit annoying. it's okei to put voice overs during beginning and show ending just like what they do in desperate housewives but several times during the show -- annoying. lalo na when they do the (sample) 32 years 15 days 2 hours duh duh duh.

aside from this, okei ra ang show..

As for me, the narrative done by Jim Dale (famous for doing the Harry Potter audiobooks) adds character to the show
