Pinoy Big Brother (Reality TV Series)

Before we get to the mini-review, I'd just like to get one thing straight. I don't watch the TV Series and therefore have no idea on what to expect from the 24/7 Stream.


Like I said, I am absolutely clueless to this whole kuya thing. It's a boring Monday night. I'm waiting for my download of Smallville Season 5 Ep 7 to finish while cruising the channels on the TV. Man! have we got a lot of reality series going on and apparently the big thing in the Philippines right now is Pinoy Big Brother.

Barely understood what happened in tonight's episode..there was one chick with a thick, like molasses thick, Cebuano/Visayan/Bisayan accent. There was also another gal with a guy's hair on her head (not a wig, she's just wearing it short). So anyway, from what I understood, they're stuck together for 100 days(?) and will be receiving a prize (duh). It's another one of those viewers-have-the-power-to-kick types which adds an interactive bonus to it's appeal.

Being the fuc kin net g33k that I am..i googled the show and got me a link to ABS-CBN NOW. Hey! They're offering actual 24/7 Live streaming video of the "housemates" for US $5.00 a week. I was thinking: "Hell, I spend P300.00 on BBs alone..why the fuc k not." So, I got my credit card out and started punching in the usual detail..

Here I am 1:29AM in the morning..watching that hot bisayan chick struggle at Tagalog and eat noodles.. this other girl (i think her name's Sey) is on the floor playing with herself. Ooops, I'm sorry, I mean playing with a 1000-pc puzzle alone on the floor. Wink

The quality of the stream is ok..not 768Kbps but ok. The sound is alright as well..it's clear enough for us to cringe at ms.bisayan-accent's err accent.

It's 1:34AM.. i feel like i made a $5.00 mistake..this is boring shi t.
Hope they get naked or do something really stupid. Sigh. Stick to regular TV programming, unless you're THat into this Pinoy Big Brother thing.


Just realized that I can download all episodes..might as well do that and get my five bucks worth.
