Laptop Problem

Hello Maayong Buntag!

Ask lng ta ko ug idea/tip/advice regarding sa laptop nga magsige nlng ug power off. After 2mins mu pawong daun sya after turning it on.. as much as possible ako sa unta e.troubleshoot before nko dad.on sa service center basin madala pa ug fix... Unit is Dell Inspiron N5010. Ako sya gisuwayan ug padagan sa iyang builtin diagnostics pero mao ghapon mukalit nlng sya ug power off.. Mao ni ako mga nasuwayan:


1. Gitangtang nko ang battery and power on the laptop pero same ghapon mapawong.
2. Gi try nko disamble ang laptop to the point nga pwede nko ma limpyohan ang fan nya reseat sa HDD ug RAM


Kung dli na jud nko madala ug troubleshoot ako nlng cguro dad.on sa Service Center Pero sa mga naka try ani nga prob patudlo ko ninyo mga master

- So imo gi limpyuhan? for sure bossing nag clog na ang fan sa gpu/cpu ana sa daghang abog and probably your cpu is overheating na so cleaning gpu/cpu and reapply thermal paste would be great solution. Pero ug wala nimo na limpyuhi, why don't you try cleaning them and let see. Daghan videos sa youtube how to reapply thermal paste sa cpu/gpu and cleaning the laptop by yourself.

If imo nana gi limpyuhan same ra gihapon, maybe there is something wrong with your hardware (motherboard, ram, cpu etc...) and thats the time imo dalaon sa tech shop ayaw sa service center kay mahal jud na sila 2x ang price but be sure pud sa techshop imo dalaon ayaw pag kompyansa kay daghang binuang ron delikado himulbolan na or ilisdan ug parts nga guba so before nmo dalaon i list ang mga serials sa hardware or take pictures each if possible. Mga master salamat kaayo sa inyo mga suggestion, ako na gisuwayan ug limpyo ang laptop actually before nko giukban gisuwayan nko balik padagan sa built-in diagnostic and this time ni continue ra sya then no errors found sa diagnostic...pero after several minutes of using the laptop(about 15mins) ni shutdown ra jud sya.. then ako gi.disassemble pag.usab and cleaned the area where is dusty. Murag need jud ni ug thermal paste hehe wala pa nuon ko kasuway maybe i'll watch some youtube vidz on how to. Salamat sa inyo mga suggestions! By the way any thermal grease would do? or there is a specific for the laptop?

@trickynapzter: Buy ug thermal paste nga kanang gray kay mas effective compared to white paste. Pwede ra nang baligya sa CDRking, pwede ra pud branded basta gray thermal paste. Easy raman boss mag apply pareha ka daghanon sa usa ka monggos then daghang method pwede spreading method mao akong style, dot method, x method any styles will do basta di mo awas. Try to youtube lang pareho rana sila ka effective ang method basta dili sobra ug dili pud kulang.

YES boss for sure thermal paste ra ang solusyon ana then ma fix nana nimo. If your laptop is 3-5 yrs up older for sure need nana ug clean ug re apply ug thermal paste. Goodluck boss kuhai ug pics nya post ha aron maka kita mi sa imong work.
