sorry ka-ayo, wala gyud koi maka-recommenda nga router hardware
since 2k~5k man budget..., ma-o ni ako options mahuna-huna-an:

Option1: (DDWrt or Tomato Based routers)
pros:
-'can' control "bandwidth"
-has tons of features
-can act as a torrent box also

cons:
-hard to find
-can be tricky to configure if hardware/software is different from what you'll see online.


Option2: (pfSense, Sophos, Kerio solution)
note: you'll need to buy a cheap PC and have 2 LAN cards on it.
pros:
-tons example online, I have a Sophos example here ^_^
-way more powerful in terms of 'routing', all un-imaginable features you can have

cons:
-extremely difficult to configure ^_^

look for Tomato based / dd wrt based cdrking routers.... or you can get Asus RT-N18u this should address your need.

lisud ang option 1, need to scout for the 'right' "compatible" hardware..., ikaduha..., hope dili maka-nose bleed ang QoS sa DDWrt/Tomato.

kani kahang tp-link load balancer like 470t or 480t? kinsay nka suway diha please kog comment... akong main concern lang jud ang pag limit ra sa ilang bandwidth

kasagaran raba ani nila kai inig limit nimo sa bandwidth kai dili raba na sila "dynamic" mu distribute and it will be fixed.

like for example, na-a ka connection nga 5mbps, na-a ka 4x nga device maka-internet nga dapat nimo i-distribute ang bandwidth..., so butang lang nato 1mbps download each then .2mbps upload each sab...

karon..., absent ang 3x device kai nangla-ag or namakasyon ^_^, ikaw ra usa..., dili nimo ma-utilize ang full bandwidth kai 1/4 man ang settings.

ambot lang kaha if ang pag setup sa bandwidth ani nila sa router mismo sayon raba kaha...


in regards to the tplink 470t/480t..., na-a man siya bandwidth control examples dayon sayon ra, pero..., murag overkill rani para nimo..., daghan ka ISP?
