If gusto mag AVR then kana gyud magamit as intended labi na low voltage ang lugar, then buy the servo type. Mahal2x lang gyud ni sila'g price. Similar sa mga entry level UPS.

Pero, better buy the UPS na lang gyud with surge protector.

Akoang mga PCs kay directly plugged to the wall sila. Clean man ang mains.

Agree, if you have to use an AVR go for the servo type. But again, it is expensive and you might be able to get a "good" UPS for a little over the price. A UPS, for me, is the best choice.

However, gamit man pud nang AVR. 1, sort of an extension with a switch. 2, from personal experience sa amu daan nga balay, hibong ko nga na shutdown man kalit ako PC. na burn diay ang fuse sa avr. Ilisan nako, then na putol na sad. So, I stopped using the PC and had an electrician check the outlet. It turned out there was something wrong with the outlet (short cguro to) and had not there been a FUSE in the avr, basin ang PSU nadaot.

So mura cya og extension with switch + fuse/surge protector.
