About the Sharepoint Architect Position:
A SharePoint architect is a high-level Information and Technology expert who evaluates an enterprise's information, content, and records management; business processes; core values, mission, and vision; organizational structure and culture; IT infrastructure; and operational, legal, and regulatory risks, and then creates and implements a comprehensive plan for creating information governance, business processes, and SharePoint (and third-party) infrastructure to meet the assessed needs.
Responsibilities:
Create knowledge management strategies, including required metadata and taxonomic organization.
Work with users to identify requirements, train on usage and troubleshoot problems.
Create and test workflows and search functions to enable productivity
Design, develop and test SharePoint builds and architects to meet a variety of needs.
Build, maintain and automatically feed data into dashboards and reports.
Skills and Experience
Strong verbal communication, preferably experience working with Australian or British companies
Highly professional written communication exceptional understanding of the English language
Experience in a Business to Business (B2B) technology role
Bachelor Degree in Information Technology
Ability to adapt to a broad range of issues and challenge
At least 3 years experience working with Microsoft SharePoint Server, .NET, Microsoft SQL Server
