Hello istoryans...
Just wanna share my experience wid PHILCARE INSURANCE...
Yesterday i had hard cough, flu & my 2cheeks numb so we went to mendero hospital @ 4am to have it check since thats d only hospital near to me. Unfortunately when they knew that it will be charge to my philcare insurance the 2nurse explained to me that it needs verification & approval & mostly they dont approve for its coverage is very limited chances are i have to sign that just in case it will not be approve i will be the one to pay. I ask them if possible can we have the approval before to proceed but they told me it cannot be so i went home. I informed my boss & referred to our offcmate who usually use the card in northgen with credited pulmo dr which is perfect for me since im an asthmatic patient. I requested an endorsement first to the coordinator - dr esplanada then her secretary forwarded the needed paper to SARAH BONTILAO the secretary of DR. SHERWIN YGNACIO (pulmo dr). I called Sarah many times to ask for priority number but shes inside the dr's room - my last call a girl answered me that sarah already included me on the list of names sched for check up on that day. Past 12 we arrived @ nothgen - Sarah told me that im already last or 10th on the list so i ask her y since ive been calling her since 9am? She just answered, im not sure if d dr will handle u since he change his rule on philcare patient - he will only handle patients in ctitical situation like with tb. I told her im an asthmatic patient & came far cant u consider that? She just shook her head & told me she will just try. When the dr came in - she was asked how many patient she answered 9 then followed inside. When she came out she told me d dr will only serve the 8patient & he will stick to his rule on handling philcare patient in critical situation only which i dont belong.... Now, let me ask u have i done wrong? This is my first time to use philcare after 3yrs of being a member but i guess it would be my last also having that traumatic experience... so, calling all philcare users - share ur experience here...
