Asking for Suggestions for Budget Photo Editing Rig

Good day mga ka istoryan. basin naay mga photo editors diri nga mka hatag sa ilang suggestion with regards to my plan to upgrade my old rig. Strictly for lr and photoshop use lang. Level of use: Beginner to Intermediate and seldom kaayo Advance.Hoping that the specs would provide me with smooth rendering sa mga actions sa ps. Budgetarian mode.

Current Rig:
Board Emaxx Icafe AM3+
CPU AthlonII (i think)
2x4 DDR3
300gig HDD
No GPU
Generic PSU
23” ips monitor

Plan to buy these Hardwares this sunday. Going for Intel this time but tempted to stay AMD FM2 because of the cost.

Board Gigabyte GA-B85M-HD3
CPU Intel Core i3-4170 3.7GHz 3MB (2Cores,HD4400 350MHz)
Same memory
1T HDD
GPU? (needed ba jud?)
Silverstone 500w
Same monitor

Actually ok ra ang old rig nako sa mga minor nga mga actions but sometimes mu delay (lag gamay) ang mga actions and ma tolerate ra nako until ni crash akong hdd. I think sign na ni to level up “gamay”.

or you would lose your enthusiasm with slower pc and will be dragging your a$s just to make it work.

copy sir butitoy.thanks. bought the mboard and an i5 cpu instead of the planned i3. kulang sa lista kay ang vid card nalang.ssd maybe in the very near future.will use lang sa sa 1t hdd. needed jud diay ang vid card sir sa? or will a low end vcard do? and can you recommend 1? ps and lr beginner to intermediate level lang ko. not heavy ps user. gusto unta nako nga dili OVERKILL ang akong mapalit nga VCard for an upgrade. thanks again!

If photo editing lang using Photoshop focus on CPU horsepower and decent Memory capacity. An SSD will help too. If dili ka ganahan sa gamay nga storage capacity sa SSD, naa ra sad option to get SSHD.

Never tried lightroom though so maybe need ani ang GPU. Not sure.

Pila diay budget nimo boss?

Thanks xy. Spent around 8.8k for the procie, 3.5 for the board, 2.8 ups 2.5 for the hdd (soon ang ssd for the os lang) the rest ram, case etc. stock nako from old rig. I am pondering sa vcard. If makaya ra sa onboard or need ba jud ang vidcard for my purpose. If so, pwede ra ba low end. Nag budget ko maybe 2-3k for the vc.Thanks again sir.

Dili kailangan ug GPU ang Photoshop. Pag-search sad nako, di sad kailangan sa Lightroom. I think ok nah ka! Ang load ana is naa man sad sa CPU and RAM.

Lightroom uses more CPU than GPU. Pero once daghan2 naka gibutang na improvements makatabang ang naay GPU. Mas smooth ang application kesa sa wala. Lahi ra jud pag between sa PC nako ug sa laptop.

If used incorrectly, it consumes more HDD than CPU/GPU tho haha

60gb kayo ang gikaon sa ako C
