good day mga sir.. plano na ko nga mo eskwela unta sa USC pero im confused about this four majors. Pwede kung kinsa kahibaw dira eh explained ni nako og pila kaha ang tuition ani computer engineering og asa sa 4 na major nga maka kuha kog trabaho abroad.

im 25 years old. my wife is an engineer abroad in UAE and 2 years nami nga married. katong high school pa ko puro lang kabuang akong gibuhat na adik ko sa computer gaming. until i got to college puro gihapon kabuang. dayun naka asawa. nasamot pa sa pagduwa og games. nya karon akong asawa kay gibyaan ko para siguro makarealize ko sa tanan. kay gipul-an akong asawa kay kuwang ko sa pangandoy. then na realize na ko tanan nga what the F is im doing with my life. og karon gusto na ko ipakita niya na gabag-o na ko. been 2 weeks nami na gabuwag. pero open pa man mi sa messages og skype panagsa pero dili na dyud ko niya dawaton og balik. ingon siya fix your life first. love kaayu nako akong asawa og buhaton na ko ang tanan para niya. dili ko kwartahan naa ra koy negosyo nga makasapat sa tuition. murag mag asin sa ko ani pirmi. im actually good in math and science. magamit ba ni nako nga skills aning kursuha? or mukuha lang kog civil engineering. please help me mga sir. i really need some advice. sorry sa akong pag ka type ani nga thread kay akong utok karon wa sa wisyo.
USC akong gipili bisag mahal kay sa akong pag search sa mga nindot nga schools para sa engineering daghan niingon nga mas okay daw sa USC. no disrespect to other schools.

hi TS, first of all! Frankly speaking, that was a good decision by your wife to leave you para maka amgo pd ka sa mung mga sayop nga nabuhat, i know di pd na sayon sa yang part to leave you hanging but this should be the best time to pack up your things and to move forward.
I graduated as BSIT on not so well known School ,hehe kay for me, dili mn sa school ang basehan to come up with your dreams. I work and study hard by endorsing myself to be a working student in our school, that time I was exposed more on my field, until such time nakagraduate jd intawn ko sponsor with the school. haha. let me say this, nndot kay sa feeling ts if mkagraduate ka sa college without asking or begging to your parents or other people.

For the courses that you provided, okay rmn pd cla, just give time to research for the keywords of the courses that you had here. Software engineer, computer network , digital system and network admin. Just remember that you need only to focus one area, kay para d mag saksak sinagol , you know IT broad kaau na, hehe if you want to set up a network then go to computer networks or certificate in systems and network administration ( don't know what is the exact difference between the two), if you love to make programs or software, then go to Software Engineering. I don't any idea with digital design lng TS, hehe bsta the bottom here is that you have to choose the course nga for sure you eventually love your job, ayaw paabota ang mahay2 kay mahal ang tuition ron, hehe esp sa USC ka school, god bless sa mung pag school unya!

correct me if m wrong but sa USC, dli enough ang good kag math ug science lng nga educational background to come up if ur a good fit sa course nga imong ganahan.

i'm not saying ur not capable but you first need to check within urself if ur academic skills will get u where u wanna go, to help u with that, again correct me if m wrong but, IMO you need to do:

1) take sa ug IQ test/entrance exam sa USC
2) after getting ur entrance exam scores, and base on that (i.e. IQ/exam scores), e assess ka ana sa guidance if u can proceed with any eng'g courses
3) if ang assessment is pwedi kag eng'g course, try ask sa guidance (or rep. sa eng'g dept) if unsa ila ika recommend nmo nga e major based sa imong exam results

i'm not judging anyone, just wanna share some short story...
naa ko roomate sa una sa college....1st year ko unya cya 3rd year(name is Tata)...both of us took engineering course.....ako naa sa sakto nga age sa pang 1st year college, pero c tata 27yo na cya pag 3rd year....ang rason maog dugay cya nag college k kara.ang bogoy, adik, ug palahobog cya sa high school...but even if dli maau iyang academic background na kuha japon niya ug 5 yrs ug nka graduate cya sa Mech Engg unya board passer nsad, nya after 3 years from college nka abroad napud.

Akong tambag nimo TS since naa naka business diha ka mag pa improve, walay nadato sa work,,ug ma magna cumlaude ka pag graduate mo pila kaha max sweldo mo ug mo work locally 40K, 50K kana ug ma hait gyud kag pag graduate nimo which is 5 to 8 year from know including experience, if mag abroad sad ka pila man tan-aw mo sweldo basin sa lowpaying job ang ending more or less 40K, 50K ra sad duol.

I would suggest to Innovate your business, work on multiple income and break that fixed 50K a month working talent fee.

If gusto gyud kag dimploma while running a business always continue to learn read, read, read and practice and learn for the experience of others. Pwede kaman nag saturday class and get a diploma of a course nga wala nimo na human pag college, try sa USJR naa sila program ana, ma carry to imong mga unit na kuha before, ang imo mga classmate mga edad edaran nasad ug mga maayo laki na sa experience sa work. Sa gi ingon pas uban ang skwelahan naa rana permi, apan ang opportunity dili permi.

its not because you love computer gaming, maka sugakod na kag computer related courses, daghan na sayop ani.. daghan ni try, daghan pd nadapa..
evaluate first before jumping in para dili ma sayang kwarta.

sakto ang uban, why not focus on your business? padak.a na imo negosyo, you never know that is your calling.. good luck!

thanks for the advice mga sir.... pero i really want to study. its not that i like computer gaming that i choose computer engineering.
for now dili pa na ko gi isip kung pila akong sweldohon or etc. yes i know importante talaga ang kwarta sa atong society karon but for now i just want to change , for my wife and for my future kids. Para naman they can say their dad`s name with pride. i just want to show my wife that im a change man. I want to repay her for marrying me sacrificing her future for me. Kayanon man nako or hindi ang engineering basta ill do my best and give my all. sorry kaayo sa drama mga sir. mahimo man diay tang poet kung biyaan ta sa atong asawa. sorry sad sa grammar.

i really appreciate all the advices mga sir. Sakit kaayo ako dughan og gulo sad kaayo akong utok. at least napagawas nako gamay, basig mabuang ta ani sige huna huna.

akong business diay mga sir kay piso net. dili ra need bantayan. ako ra say mag ayo sa mga guba og mag install etc... enjoy sad na ko mga in ani nga work, maona nga akong gi choose ang computer eng.

Go for Civil/Mechanical Engineering boss mas dako kag chances maka work abroad dayon specially naa imong wife sa UAE. Just my 2 cents
