*Lisod kaayo mag bisaya na pinalawn og labi n a mag sturya about terminology in sports. So keep in mind that I decided to post this on English*

This thread is all about the proposal, implementation, and asking for support not to the government, but to the Cebuano people and the Bisaya. Why am I here? Because I want to share with you guys my ideas and experience about playing soccer despite living in a basketball fanatic country by nature. So first thing,I would like to clarify that it is my personal option to call the sport "soccer" instead of "football" since mao namay na andan sa kadaghanan diri.Although, officially it should be called and named "football".I am not forcing everyone to play, nor I am bashing any basketball fan here or comparing both sports in different aspects. But to be frank with you, basketball is very boring as hell. That is why I moved to soccer and try new things that are underrated. There are a lot of tournaments already held in Cebu, but the problem is "futsal" isnt known and popular to the minds of the Filipinos.

As you try and progress in playing soccer. You wouldn't only notice the further improvements of your skills and mentality, but you would also realize the soccer isn't really supported by the government and the people themselves.Yes,things are actually observable.Starting from the field and the ground you are playing with. There is no grass, everything is poorly maintained and there are large rocks spiking everywhere especially near the goal side, which is really annoying for goalkeepers like me to defend.Sa akong pag duwa ever since, walay soccer field na naka satisfy jud nako.Even ang Abellana karon is poorly maintained, grass isn't growing at all.And you have to travel miles away just to find an empty or less occupied field especially when its summer where plays are usually held.Another thing is that lack of support in schools. Our school field here on college was destroyed and converted into a parking lot.Soccer field in CTU was also converted into a classroom building, whats next? Dont tell me only Abellana and San Roque would be left few years from now? I hope that we would make a change by simply supporting that said sport in our own little ways.I know it would be pointless if the government would spend on this hobby, but there's still a way we could influence the young and the people to play soccer. The Word of Mouth is one of the key.I know someday Cebu could adapt this sport, not only here but around the entire Philippines.Because soccer isnt only made for boys,it is actually girl-friendly.And there are so many different positions you can play in the field.
