Warning: SM City Cebu and SMART Store SM Cebu are colluding in a scam in my opinion

SMART sends me this message on December 21st: Buy 1, Take 1 on all Smart Bro Regular Load Cards P100 and P300 in SM mall information booths nationwide! Promo until 12/31/2015 DTI #16859.

So I go to SM City Cebu info booths, all of them have the cards, but none will honor the "buy 1 take 1" promo.

Then I contact SMART and SMART tells me to get the buy 1 take 1 promo at SMART Store SM Cebu. At first the store claims they only handle post paid issues and do not deal with pre paid. The cashier Richard told me there is a smart prepaid store but he does not know where Later as I started to question it they retract this and claim the cards are sold out and to buy from Junrex. They also defended sm info booths and said the SM information booths are holding old cards. This convinces me that they are working together in a scam, because sm information booth did not claim it was old cards, it looked brand new with 2017 expiry dates.

I think smart store sm cebu bought their own cards at the buy 1 take 1 price, and then sold it to junrex. In conclusion, sm info. booths refuse to honor the buy 1 take 1 promo, and smart store sm cebu says to buy from junrex at full price. It seems both sm city cebu information booths and smart store sm cebu are working together to not honor the buy 1 take 1 promo.

It is the same story at Smart shop in Ayala Cebu. They claim the cards are sold out, yet lo and behold, right next to the Smart shop at Ayala is a Junrex and I was told they have the cards.

It is such an easy scam to pull, I actually blame Smart for making such a scam so easily executable with the way they structure this promo. The employees of Smart shop simply give the cards to Junrex, Junrex sells at retail, and both side split the profit.

If someone else here goes to any SM nationwide, hope you can stop by at an information booth and see if they offer the promo on the broadband cards.

I just wonder if it's just SM Cebu info booths that are frauding, or it's a nationwide problem.
