Need ko ug help about sa ako PC build for overclocking, please advice mga geeks!

Mao ni ako parts :

MSI Z97 gaming 7 motherboard
ASUS Strix 960 4GB
Silverstone PSU 600W non-modular
CPU Intel i5-4690K

Pero gusto nku maka save ug kwarta sa CPU, di ko sure if pwedi ra ang i5-4590 which is dili unlocked na CPU

Kailangan sad nku ug taw na expert mo buo sa ako PC, kung pwedi with a decent talent fee

You need a decent cooler too if you're overclocking your CPU, bulky aftermarket cooler or a closed loop watercooling. . Is this a gaming PC you're planning to build? If you're overclocking your CPU, the increase of FPS isn't that big and not noticeable unless you'll do some benchmarks. If you want a higher FPS, then get a decent GPU (the main core for gaming).

If I were to decide, I'll spend the extra bucks on getting a decent GPU rather than spending it on getting a "K" processor and a "Z" mobo..

You can save and spend your money by getting a non "K" CPU and an H87/97 or B85 mobo and get a GTX 970 would be a better choice for gaming!

I think boring ang regular build na PC mao gusto nku mag overclock. I'm into gaming lang, I think I made the wrong decision to buy the GPU I have now mao ganahan ko mag overclock to compensate. But yes, I've read some reviews as well and indeed dapat unta high end the GPU ako gi palit. One thing that I like with the Mobo though is the option to switch from OC to gaming mode and also for future upgrades. Anyway, I think mo proceed ko sa i5-4690K madala ra sa budget. If dili ko mag overclock then pwedi rako mag gamit sa regular na CPU cooler nuh? or dapat mo palit ghapun ko ani : Coolmaster V8 GTS

unsa man diay ang gaming titles na imohang ginaduwa ug unsa pud ang imohang monitor resolution? naka ingon man gud ka na wrong purchase nimo ang GTX 960 4GB... share pud para mahatagan ka'g comment. basin gaan ra lang GFX sa gaming titles nimo then palit ka'g mahalon na GPU. kalas2x ka lang sa money pero, if you like to spend it, then why not... hehehe... bitaw, para dili masayang ang money nimo pud ba...

example lang ni... naka GTX 960 then ang gaming titles kay mga MOBA games lang... then wla'y productivity apps na mo utilize sa power sa GPU (in this example, GTX 960), sayang2x lang gyud na sya... a lower variant like the GTX 750 (non0Ti or Ti) is more than enough for MOBA games @ 1080p resolution... ok gani ang mga GTX 650 series ani ug ang lower like the GT 730 DDR5... or even the GT 730 DDR3 (lower GFX setting lang ni)...

pero, kun ang mga games na duwa-on mga GFX hogs gaming titles, aw, nice kaayo kun mag power ug GPU...

ang kun dili ka mag OC, bisan "K" CPU pana basta running @ stock lang, then its stock cooler is enough to dissipate the CPU heat away... kun mag OC ka, then, its anothe story. you need to upgrade to an air cooler designed for OC or a Closed LCS (w/ dual fan configured on Push n' Pull and thick rad... if 120 mm fan compatible sya) or 240 mm rad (dual fan side by side)... or Open LCS...

kun mag dual fan in Push n' pUll config ka on a thin rad (design for single fan only) then, taas nang temp nimo kun mag OC ka...

OC is good but, it will increase your power consumption from the wall... kun gusto ka maka hibaw pila gyud ang gi lamoy sa rig, use a power meter and measure from the wall the rig running @ stock and running @ OC...
