ang akong pangutana kun pwede ba ang Windows XP kun ang memory sa computer is 64MB lang ug sa 586 nga motherboard? ug kun pwede, unsa ka reliable pud? unsa dia minimum requirements arun modagan ang XP?

pakig-ambi sab mo kun naa mo maanindot nga kasinatian mahitungod ani.

    My advice:

    DON'T.

Either upgrade or settle with Win98, 95, or heck, even a Linux distro.

Here's What You Need to Use Windows XP Professional
    • PC with 300 megahertz or higher processor clock speed recommended; 233 MHz minimum required (single or dual processor system);* Intel Pentium/Celeron family, or AMD K6/Athlon/Duron family, or compatible processor recommended
    • 128 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher recommended (64 MB minimum supported; may limit performance and some features)
    • 1.5 gigabytes (GB) of available hard disk space*
    • Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher-resolution video adapter and monitor
    • CD-ROM or DVD drive
    • Keyboard and Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device

    **From Microsoft Website

It can probably run windows xp but it'll be choppy... Better to lessen your startup programs if you really insists on XP.. I had a P3 unit running on windows xp..however i just set it on freeze, so i won't install anti-v which takes up alot of system memory...yea, add some more memory..

it would probably run but unusable. tons of file swapping is gonna happen. you can't do anything but stare at the busy mouse pointer.

bro, dili ni pwede sa XP. so you have 586, wa pa tawon na kasakay sa P1 na series. lower than pentium 1 man na ang 586 pero slightly higher sa 486 katong dos mode lang ang kaya ana. win95 na lang kaha ka kay dos based man ni na OS pero gibuhatan lang og GUI...
