    Default Solemnizing Officer for Weddings

    Hi Guys!

Not sure if I'm on the right sub-forum but I need your help on this matter. My partner and I wanted to have our wedding on a beach. Everything is prepared na, from the venue, to the dress and all. Sadly, we're both Catholics and there's no way for us to have a priest to officiate our wedding and as what we've learned, dili na allowed ang judge kung outside the courthouse. So our last resort is to have a Catholic Wedding sa morning then reception sa afternoon but it would be best unta kung everything will happen in one venue.

Did some research and found out that Solemnizing Officers can do it for us. Found this blog that shed some light on this matter.

Pinay Bride Guide: Common questions about getting a Solemnizing officer ( introduction to our S.O. Review )

and that you can verify the license of the officer through the SOIS website
    https://sois.psa.gov.ph/

So with that in mind, can you guys help me and my partner find a Solemnizing Officer na based here sa Cebu?
Naa sa ilang database mga Cebu based but it doesn't have any contact information.

The ones we saw are from Luzon and it would cost us their transpo and accomodation which magamit unta for something else para sa wedding.

    Thanks ahead!

    Dear Friends,

We already have marriage license. We got it from Quezon City. Then we went to Quezon City Hall of Justice and joined the raffle of judges. Then we were assigned to a judge in November 6, 2015 and then until now they could not give us exact date for marriage. Maybe because the solemnization fee is only 300 pesos? I am very sad and wants to withdraw our application for marriage solemnization in Quezon City Hall of Justice and prefer a solemnizing officer in Cebu to solemnize our wedding. I am crying now and angry to the government employees of that branch in Quezon City Hall of Justice. Please help me find also a solemnizing officer.

If you approach and give "lagay" to the right person, you can get married immediately legally.

City and municipal mayors are solemnizing officer... they can marry anyone with complete legal documents.
