Wanted help from automotive experts. I'm planning to put a 2 dashboard cameras on my car and each camera is powered with a 5v dc. Akong pangutana is, naa bay paagi nga mag on ang camera pirmi using another car battery or using powerbank? Ganahan ko mag record ang mga camera even naka park na ang car or off na ang engine. Each camera kay naay battery nga mag last ra ug 2 hours and mo charge ra cya if magdagan ang car. Pwede ba na nga naay usa ka extra car battery nga para ra sa mga camera and then e charge ra to ang battery sa main car battery kung modagan na ang sakyanan? thanks.

I might be able to help, unsa imong dashcam and unsa iyang port, mini or micro USB? The best way is to connect the cam to your "always on" fuse in your fuse box.

if naay chances that your car will be bath under the sun, better to take off the battery.. it may explode or burn your car...

Unless it's capacitor powered, not battery. 2 of my dashcams I manually replaced the battery with Capacitors which will not have heat issues.

pwede ba na nga mag record ra always ang camera and dili mahurot iyang power kay mag charge pirmi sa car battery even if naka parking cya 24 hours? Dili ba mahurot ang car battery ana or maninghanglan ko ug another car battery para lang sa camera?

Ang camera I think naa option to turn off the monitor while its recording, that way dili kaayo mokaon sa battery. However, gamay ra man pud hinuon ug kaon ang cam kay it's all about the amps not the volts.
Naa ko extra na power supply that I can sell to you. Help nalang ko sa pagkabit sa fuse box.
No need for a separate battery.
